Combine Ride

So I like Harvest, I really do. I just never like how long it takes. Once it starts our lives feel totally disruppted, naps, meals everything. So I will be happy when it is over, to try to get back to a somewhat "normal" life if we can! Anyways here are a few pictures of Aubree and Cohen in the combine! They had fun and enjoyed the ride. Braxton also got to ride in the combine this year, and loved it, but i don't have a picture on my computer.

Naps

Ok so we are having kind of a rough day. I am struggling getting my 3 year old down for a nap. She has not had good naps most of the week and it has been very obvious in the evening by her behaivor. I can tell that she still needs them and benefits from them, but she has been fighting me on them all week. Anybody have any thoughts or ideas? I have tried everything, asking nicely, getting angry, taking away privilages, and putting a gate up, that she can now just take down. Ugh I am just at my wit's end today! If she doesn't take one then she usually falls asleep sometime in the evening and then has a hard time going to bed! Agh! It is just a vicious cycle! Anyways I am sorry I just needed to vent!! Also I was thinking why is it kids don't like to take naps? When you get older people would love to be able to take naps, but can't because they have to much to do. I wish I could take a nap!! Sorry, Anyways!! Have a great weekend!

Halloween

Ok So this is slowing working. Or I should say I am slowly starting to figure this out. So Here are the kids on Halloween. Aubree was an ice cream cone and Braxton was an Oreo Cookie. Mom made their costumes. Aubree got 3rd place at the Costume Contest in Seward. So we were excited for that. Also I got their pictures taken for the Banner Press so they were in there today! They had fun Trick or Treating but after all the Halloween Parties and everything we attended we were exhausted! So now we need a few weeks to recover before all the excitement of Thanksgiving and Christmas starts:)
